The Deccan Odyssey offers a relaxing abode in its 21 coaches. These 21 coaches comprise of 12 passenger cars, 1 conference car, 2 dinning cars, 2 generator cars with luggage store, 2 staff, spare Car, 1 spa car and 1 bar car.     Day 1: Mumbai (Departure)

    The luxury train journey will embark from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai in the evening. Dinner will be served on board.
    Departure: 4.40 P.M.



    Day 2: Sindhudurg- Tarkarli Beach

    After enjoy breakfast on board, the train will halt Kudal Railway Station. Board Malvan Jetty by Air-conditioned coach and proceed for a visit to Sindhudurg Fort by boat. Return to depart for the famous Tarkarli Beach Resort. Enjoy relaxing lunch at the well-maintained MTDC beach resort. After spending some quality time with nearby beach and natural environs, return to the Kudal Railway Station and board the train. Dinner will be provided on board.
    Arrival: 7.30 A.M., Departure: 8.00 PM.

    Day 3: Goa (Sightseeing Tour)

    Arrive early in the morning at Karmali Railway Station, have breakfast on board and proceed for sightseeing tour of Old Goa (by A/c coach). The tour will include visit to St. Augustine Church, Basilica of Bom Jesus, St. Francis of Assissi and Fontanhas-the latin Quarters at Panjim. Come back to the train at Verna Station for lunch and spend some leisure time. Later, depart by bus to reach beach side hotel and enjoy the Goan culture and traditional meals there. Arrive at Madgaon Railway Station to board the train.
    Arrival: 7.30 A.M., Departure: 9.15 P.M.

    Day 4: Goa- Vasco

    Early arrival at Vasco station and deboard to proceed for sightseeing tour to Mangeshi temple (by A/c. coach), Safa Masji, Sahakari Spice Farm etc. here, you will be taken for 45 minutes guided tour with firsthand knowledge of spice plantation. Enjoy traditional Goan lunch at farm and continue with the tour to Menezes Braganza House at Chandor village. Come back to the Deccan Odyssey at Madgaon Railway Station and depart for Kolhapur. Dinner will be served onboard.
    Arrival: 7.30 A.M., Departure: 8.00 P.M

    Day 5: Kolhapur

    Enjoy breakfast onboard and arrive at Kolhapur railway station. Detrain and proceed for sightseeing tour (by A/c. coach) of the city that will include visit to popular attractions like, New Palace, Museum, Bhawani Mandap, Mahalaxmi Temple & Shalini Palace etc. Enjoy martial arts and cultural programmes & visit to handicraft stalls. Return to the Kolhapur Railway Station and board the Deccan Odyssey. Proceed for Daulatabad / Aurangabad via Pune (halt for a while there). Lunch and dinner will be served on board.
    Arrival: 8.35 A.M., Departure: 9.45 P.M.

    Day 6: Aurangabad

    Early morning arrival at Daulatabad railway station, have breakfast and detrain at the station. Leave for local sightseeing (by A/c coach) and visit Daulatabad Fort and Ellora Caves- a World Heritage Site. Later, depart for Aurangabad for lunch and go for local sightseeing including visit to Bibi-Ka-Maqbara. Spend some time in shopping and return to Deccan Odyssey train. Proceed for Jalgaon and have dinner onboard.
    Arrival: 6.45 A.M., Departure: 6.00 P.M.

    Day 7: Ajanta- Nashik

    Have early morning breakfast onboard and arrive at Jalgaon railway station. From here, proceed for a historical visit to the Ajanta Caves (by A/c coach). Return to the train and proceed for next destination, Nasik. Lunch will be served onboard. On arrival at Nasik station, get transferred to Panchwati Ghats and ancient Temples. Come back to board the Deccan Odyssey train at Deolali railway station and depart for Mumbai.
    Arrival: 7.00 A.M., Departure: 10.30 P.M.

    Day 8: Mumbai

    Arrival will be at CST Mumbai railway station in the morning. Enjoy breakfast on board and check-out for the onward destination. Arrival: 7.30 A.M., Check-out time: 8.15 A.M.

    Note:
  • 10 % holiday surcharge will be charged extra.

  • 50% of the adult ticket rate will be charged for children aged 5-12 years.

  • Booking Policy:

    In case of Individual Bookings: At the time of booking, 20% of ticket value should be paid. However, the remaining 80% of ticket value should be paid 60 days prior to departure of the tour.

    In case of Group and Charter Bookings: For group bookings, 50% of ticket value is to be paid at the time of confirming the booking. The remaining 50% of ticket value should be paid 60 days prior to departure of the train.
    Cancellation Policy:,
    For Individual Bookings:
  • For applying cancellation before 60 days of departure, 5% of the ticket value will be forfeited.
  • For applying cancellation prior 30 to 59 days prior of departure, 20% of the ticket value will be forfeited.
  • However, if the cancellation is applied 15 to 29 days before the departure, the whole amount of the ticket will be forfeited.

  • For Group Bookings
    For applying cancellation 60 days prior to departure, 10% of the whole ticket value will be forfeited.
    For applying cancellation 0 to 59 days prior to departure, the whole amount of the ticket value will be forfeited.

    No Show / En-route Termination of Tour / Amendment:

    No Show: In case a passenger fails to arrive at the time of departure of the train, the whole payment of the ticket will be forfeited. Also, there is not a provision for refund or adjustment for future travel in the train. En-route Termination of Tour: If a guest (in any case) doesn't want to continue with the tour no refund or adjustment for future travel will be made.

    Amendment: Any change in the travel plan is only possible in special cases and conditions such as any Natural Disaster / Natural Calamity or Serious Health Problems (on the basis of doctor's certificate). Similarly, no refunds or amendment can be done if booking of groups or complete train has been done. In such cases, the last decision will be taken on the basis of seriousness of the issue.
