The city of Banswara enjoys the typical seasons of summer, monsoon and winter. Like other cities of Rajasthan, summer is very hot, however, monsoon season experience heavy rainfall. Thus, the period from 'August to March', is the ideal time to visit Banswara.

How to Reach

Banswara is very well connected with other cities of Rajasthan and north India via all modes of transportation.

By Air: Udaipur Airport (160 km) is the nearest airport to Banswara that connects it through different flights flying to and from metro cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai.
By Rail: The nearest rail head to Banswara is the Ratlam Junction (80 km away) which is also a major junction to go to Delhi, Mumbai, Bhopal and Ahmedabad.
By Road: With a fine road structure to Banswara, one can reach here through a number of state buses (run by the transport corporations of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh). Private cars can also be hired.

Shopping in Banswara can be special experience. When in here, one can buy some of the exotic tribal stuff as Banswara holds a range of tribes.
